The 2024 Alcoa-Rotary Club of Pinjarra Annual Art Show and Sale held at the Pinjarra Civic Hall, was one of the few events unaffected by the stormy weather during the Western Australia Day long weekend in early June.
The Show was declared open on Friday evening, 31st of May, by Shire of Murray President David Bolt, who also presented several awards during the evening.
Cr Bolt said, “I understand the show has been running for over four decades now, and continues to be highly regarded by artists across the state. It remains a highlight event on the Shire's Cultural and Arts Calendar. Well done to all the artists and award winners, and to the Show’s organising committee.”
In spite of the inclement weather, a steady stream of visitors enjoyed the opportunity to view almost 200 artworks. Students from Pinjarra Senior High School also exhibited their work which was shown in the Civic Centre Lesser Hall.
