The Rotary Club of Pinjarra planted a row of 100 Jacaranda Trees at the southern approach to the Town of Pinjarra in 2017.
The trees were planted as a gift from the Club to the town to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Club having received its charter.
And now, with thanks to co-operation received from the Shire of Murray, a granite rock bearing a plaque recording the gift has been installed at the site. The Club extends its thanks to Daniel Bain for producing the plaque.
As these trees grow, we anticipate the day that a purple haze of jacaranda flowers graces the approach to Pinjarra.
